North Central College forward Connor Raridon was named College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Basketball Player of the Week ending Dec. 2, after leading the Cardinals to a pair of easy double-digit victories.
The junior sharpshooter netted 22 points, 11 rebounds and five assists in an 83-58 road win over Finlandia University, then bounced back later in the week to lead the way with 18 points, six assists and three rebounds in a 75-64 home win over Milliken in North Central’s first CCIW game of the season.
According to the school's website, over the two-game stretch, Raridon shot better than 58 percent from the field and nearly 92 percent from the free-throw line.
With the Cardinals getting off to a blistering 5-0 start where they’ve won all their games by double-digits and an average of 14 points, Raridon leads North Central in scoring (20.0 per game), rebounds (7.8), assists (4.6), steals (1.4) and blocked shots (1.2).
