Glenbard Township High School District 87 issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.

We are offering a free 9-week 87 SAT Prep+ course to juniors at all of our schools from Jan. 28 – April 4 (no sessions during spring break). Did you know that students who take 20 hours of official SAT practice can increase their SAT score by 115 points?

Students have a choice of sections:

1. Tuesday/Thursday 2:45-5:30 Students may take the 5:45 activity bus home.
2. Tuesday/Thursday 5:45-8:30 Students will provide their own transportation.
3. M-T-W-Th 2:45-4:15* Students will provide their own transportation. *This option is not available at Glenbard South

The four-day-a-week courses (90 minutes each) will focus on coaching students using the Khan Academy digital platform. The twice weekly courses (150 minutes each) will focus on curriculum provided by Cambridge test prep. Both sections will take pencil and paper practice tests during week 1 and week 7 or 8.

We realize students may have conflicts/activities during some sessions. That said, we expect at least an 85% attendance rate for those who participate in the course.
