Q2 real estate sales report: Aurora

Median prices rose in Aurora over last year, and are up 3.4 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 715 homes sold in Aurora for a median price of $190,000. That's 0.3 percent higher than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, 42 homes in Aurora were in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Aurora was $5,047.81 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.7 percent of their home's value in taxes.
