Michelle Mussman led Republican Jillian Rose Bernas in votes cast in Wayne Township for the District 56 state House race, according to the latest vote count.
Mussman appeared to outpace Bernas by a margin of 38.8 percent on Tuesday in the township.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Michelle Mussman, won by a margin of 14.7 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Michelle Mussman, who received 206 votes to Mussman's 277.
