Christine Winger led Democrat Diane Pappas in votes cast in Wayne Township for the District 45 state House race, according to the latest vote count.
Winger appeared to outpace Pappas by a margin of 45.2 percent on Tuesday in the township.
In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Christine J Winger, won by a margin of 10.32 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Jenny M. Burke, who received 5,669 votes to Winger's 6,974.
