State House race: Democrat Stava-Murray wins voter tally in Lisle Township

Anne M. Stava-Murray led Republican David S. Olsen in votes cast in Lisle Township for the District 81 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Stava-Murray appeared to outpace Olsen by a margin of 5.6 percent on Tuesday in the township.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Ron Sandack, won by a margin of 16.4 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Elizabeth Chaplin, who received 5,499 votes to Sandack's 7,656.
