State House race: Republican Wehrli wins voter tally in Lisle Township

Grant Wehrli led Democrat Val Montgomery in votes cast in Lisle Township for the District 41 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Wehrli appeared to outpace Montgomery by a margin of 12.9 percent on Tuesday in the township.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Republican Grant Wehrli, won by a margin of 41.4 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Democrat Ed Agustin, who received 2,406 votes to Wehrli's 5,794.
