State Senate race: Democrat Fitzgerald wins voter tally in Downers Grove Township Precinct 50

Bridget M. Fitzgerald led Republican John Curran in votes cast in Downers Grove Township Precinct 50 for the District 41 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Fitzgerald appeared to outpace Curran by a margin of 8.2 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
