State Senate race: Democrat Fitzgerald wins voter tally in Downers Grove Township Precinct 2

Bridget M. Fitzgerald led Republican John Curran in votes cast in Downers Grove Township Precinct 2 for the District 41 state Senate race, according to the latest vote count.

Fitzgerald appeared to outpace Curran by a margin of 6.8 percent on Tuesday in the precinct.
