The We Are Republicans Toastmasters next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 26 at Lisle/Woodridge Fire District,1005 School St. Lisle, beginning at at 7 p.m.
According to the The We Are Republicans Toastmasters Facebook page, the group was founded in 2008 to focus on conservative values and issues. It meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month (except the fourth Monday in December).
This club is restricted to Republicans and may also have other professional and/or educational prerequisites for membership. Beyond that, members appear dedicated to doing all they can to make the environment comfortable for all.
“Visiting a club is an exciting first step in reaching your goals,” the group notes on its website. “There’s no need to feel pressure to participate at your first club meeting, you can simply observe if you wish. And since every club is unique, it’s OK to visit several clubs before you decide to join the right club for you.”
