Glenbard Township High School District 87 issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
B-PAC: Glenbard Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee and GPS: Glenbard Parent Series in Spanish will present In the Driver’s Seat with Lourdes Ferrer on Thursday, Nov. 15.
Spanish-speaking parents will be provided with the motivation, knowledge and skills they need to navigate the culture of American education. Through this academy, which will be presented in Spanish, parents/guardians will:
- Learn about resources for academic success
- Learn how to increase students’ college readiness and
- Gain information about the skills necessary for today’s careers
6 p.m. Nov. 15
Glenbard North High School, 990 N. Kuhn Road in Carol Stream
A light dinner will be served.
