North Central College kicker Derik Judka recently earned his second College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Special Teams Football Player of the Week award.

According to the school's website, Judka was feted for his seven extra-points, two field goals' performance in the Cardinals 55-0 homecoming win over Elmhurst College on Oct. 27. The award marked the fifth such distinction for the Cardinals overall this season.

Currently the freshman standout shares the national lead in field-goal percentage, connecting on a perfect 11 of 11 kicks. He also ranks fourth among all NCAA Division III kickers in field goals per game (1.38) and tops the CCIW in scoring.

With just two more field goals, Judka can claim a share of the school record for most field goals in a season at 13.

At 7-1 overall and 7-0 in the CCIW, North Central is currently ranked 10th nationally by D3football.com and 12th by the American Football Coaches Association.
