Registration of mail-in voting for DuPage County residents is now open.
Eligible voters can fill in an application form to receive a ballot. The DuPage County website states that applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Any resident who is unable to get to a voting station for any reason is legally able to mail in their ballot to have their vote counted. So, whether you are out of town or have mobility issues, you can still vote.
Voting by mail opens up 40 days prior to Election Day, according to the county website. You can send your ballot in up to five days prior to Election Day.
Residents who are admitted to a hospital, nursing home or rehabilitation center within 14 days of the election can have their ballot personally delivered.
For an application form visit the county website, a DuPage County registration location or call the Election Commission.
