More than 74.4 percent of teachers stay at Anne M. Jeans Elementary School year to year, according to the 2017 three-year average in the latest Illinois schools report card.

The Illinois State Board of Education records data concerning faculty salary, retention and attendance because maintaining a stable faculty makes for a better environment for teachers and students, furthering student success, according to the report.

CCSD 180 full-time faculty members number 51, with a student-teacher ratio of 15-to-1. There are 371 students enrolled at the elementary school.

About 62.9 percent of teachers at the elementary school and 66.5 percent of those in the district were absent 10 days or fewer in 2017, compared to 75.3 percent of teachers in the state.
