City of Wheaton issued the following announcement on July 30.
The Wheaton Brew Fest will be held at Memorial Park on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from noon to 4:30 p.m.
Karlskoga Avenue will be completely closed between Wheaton Avenue and North Hale Street from Thursday, August 2, beginning at 8 p.m. until Saturday, August 4, at 7 p.m.
During this time, Karlskoga Avenue will be impassable to all motor vehicle traffic. Wheaton Police Officers will be conducting foot patrols of Memorial Park and will be monitoring the area.
Motorists may experience temporary traffic delays and choose to alter their travel route to avoid these areas.
