Village of Westmont issued the following announcement on July 24.
“Last year we had six area communities participate in our inaugural Public Works Cruisin’ Night,” said Director of Public Works Mike Ramsey. “This year we are anticipating an even bigger and better event for the whole community to enjoy.”
On Thursday, July 26, Westmont Special Events will host Public Works and Truck Night, which will feature public works vehicles and equipment from multiple communities. The night will also feature classic trucks of all make and models. As always, classic cars of all makes and models are invited each week and can sign up for free drawings.
The event will be held on Cass Avenue in downtown Westmont from 5 to 9 p.m. and will include many activities including the Exotic Reptile Showcase, activities hosted by the Westmont Public Library, and the Police and Fire bounce house.
