City of West Chicago issued the following announcement on June 22.
The City of West Chicago is looking for food vendors for its newest special event scheduled for Saturday, October 13, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in downtown West Chicago.
The Festival will be free to the public, with food available for purchase from an assortment of vendors. Attendees of the event will also enjoy exciting entertainment and cooking demonstrations.
Vendors are encouraged to offer at least one “tasting portion” for $3 or less, and will also have the opportunity to compete in a Tasting Competition to earn unique awards (and bragging rights).
Food trucks, food vendors, and vendors that relate to the Food Festival theme are encouraged to apply. There is no registration for this year’s event, however a $25 refundable deposit is required for vendors requesting electrical hook-up. Alcohol is not permitted at this event.
