Illinois students paid $33,900 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $1,730 more than the $32,170 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 443 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7.74 million and 333 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.16 million.
Including all undergraduates, 2,674 students used grants or scholarships totaling $39.25 million. Another 2,096 took out $15.74 million in federal student loans.
