Cost of college went down for all students at G Skin & Beauty Institute

Tuition and fees fell 3.2 percent for 2017-18 at G Skin & Beauty Institute, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $11,750 to attend the private for-profit school this year $394 less than the $12,144 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 64 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 7 students received grants or scholarships totaling $29,391 and 25 students took out student loans totaling more than $169,121.

Including all undergraduates, 174 students used grants or scholarships totaling $639,258. Another 209 took out $1.46 million in federal student loans.
