Report: Lisle spent $19,286 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Lisle Community Unit School District 202 is up 17 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $16,540 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $19,286 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1615 to 1487.

Lisle's spending in 2016-17 was 49 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
