Report: Community Unit School District 200 spent $12,898 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Community Unit School District 200 is up 8 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $11,959 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $12,898 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 13236 to 12711.

Community Unit School District 200's spending in 2016-17 was 1 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
