Report: Indian Prairie spent $11,468 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Indian Prairie Community Unit School District 204 is up 8 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $10,575 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,468 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 28435 to 27899.

Indian Prairie's spending in 2016-17 was 12 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
