Analysis: Warrenville pays $2.98 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Warrenville Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 74.9 percent of the $325,098 the Warrenville Fpd Firefighters Pension Fund brought in last year, or $2.98 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Warrenville contributed $243,416 to the fund, which saw a $3,348 decrease in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $81,683, or 25.1 percent, in 2016.
