Director Snyder advised the Committee that there is no County Board meeting scheduled for December 26, 2017. After discussion with Committee Chairman Puchalski, it was recommended to cancel the December 19th meeting. With the Committee member's concurrence, the December 19, 2017 Transportation Committee was cancelled.

Director Snyder advised the Committee that DOT was awarded federal funds ($3.5M or 80%) for construction/construction engineering for expansion of our Central Signal System. In addition, DuPage County collaborated with Cook County on a federal grant for Elgin O'Hare (South leg) at I-294/Franklin-Green. Funds were awarded in the amount of approximately $20M to add new entrance/exit ramps.
