Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

1. Call to Order

11:00 am meeting was called to order by Chair Sam Tornatore at 11:00 am.

A. Please turn all beepers, pagers and cell phones "off" or to "vibrate" during the meeting

2. Roll Call

Present: Anderson, Chaplin, Eckhoff, Hart, Tornatore, Wiley (Remote)

Absent:

Motion by Member Eckhoff, seconded by Member Anderson to allow Member Wiley to participate via speaker phone while he is serving in the military. On a voice vote all members present voted aye. Motion carried.

3. Chairman's Remarks Chair Tornatore announced that the October 3, 2017 Development Committee Meeting will be cancelled.

4. Public Comment

A. Public comment is limited to three minutes per person, at the beginning of the meeting. Any comment on Zoning items must be limited to discussion of testimony and/or evidence presented in the Zoning Board of Appeals. No new testimony or evidence can be presented.

There was no Public Comment.

5. Approval of Minutes

A. DC-O-0041-17 Ordinance -- Z17-030 - Conor Commercial Real Estate LLC: To Approve the following zoning relief (Wayne/Dist. 6): 1. Rezoning from B-2 General Business to OR Office/Research District; 2. Conditional Use for Warehouse Distribution Facility; 3. Variations from the following required yards: a. North Yard: Parking and Circulation from 60 feet to 10 feet b. South Yard: Parking and circulation from 60 feet to 30 feet c. East yard: Site Circulation from 40 feet to 30 feet. ZBA Vote: 7 Ayes 0 nays

The Petition was tabled until the October 17, 2017 Development Committee Meeting.

B. DC-O-0042-17 Ordinance -- Z17-031–Kingery Square: To Approve the following zoning relief (DG/Dist. 3/ generally 150’south of the SW corner of Rt. 83 and 91st St. unincorporated Willow Brook): 1. Re-zone from R-4 Single Family and OR Office Research to B-2 General Business district for new commercial center; and 2. CU PDD for Commercial Center and drive through; and 3. Exception (Variation) to reduce the required number of parking spaces from 269 spaces to 265 spaces. ZBA Vote: 7 Ayes 0 nays DuPage County Development Committee vote (to approve): 6 Ayes, 0 Nays Paul Hoss gave a brief summary of the Zoning Petition. Staff answered all questions posed by the Committee.
