Member Chaplin raised some concern about recent suicides in the community high schools. Ms. Chaplin asked about contacting the County Coroner, Richard Jorgensen, to determine the number of suicides this year and if suicides are on the rise. If so, she proposes the Health and Human Services committee consider further conversation regarding public awareness and possibly involving the DuPage County Health Department. Chairman Larsen replied that he will look into whether this is a trend or a cluster of events that occur during a particular period of time.

Chairman Larsen requested a motion to combine and place items 15.A., 15.B., and 15.C. on file. Member Chaplin so moved, Member Tornatore seconded; motion carried, all ayes.
