City of Aurora Civil Service Commission met May 18.

Chairman Wood called the meeting to order at 4:09 pm.
Commissioner Armstrong motioned to approve the May 4, 2017 meeting minutes. Commissioner Morales-Perez seconded. Motion passed.
Commissioner Morales-Perez motioned to approve Facilities Security Worker Civil Service exam. Commissioner Armstrong seconded. Motion passed.
Discussion regarding the Horticulturist position: None of the applicants passed the civil service exam. Applications are being reviewed to determine level of experience and next steps to fill the position.
Miscellaneous items were reviewed
Commissioner Armstrong motioned, seconded by Commissioner Morales-Perez to adjourn the meeting at 4:38 p.m. Motion passed.
