City of Aurora Civil Service Commission met June 1.

Chairman Wood called the meeting to order at 4:12 pm.
Commissioner Armstrong motioned for the Commission to go into executive session to review police cadet polygraphs. Commissioner Oelker seconded. Motion passed.
Commissioner Armstrong motioned for the Commission to come out of executive session. Commissioner Oelker seconded. Motion passed.
Commissioner Oelker motioned to pass police cadet Nathan Nyliel to the next step in the hiring process. Commissioner Armstrong seconded. Motion passed.
Commissioner Armstrong motioned to approve the May 18, 2017 meeting minutes. Chairman Wood seconded. Motion passed.
Commissioner Oelker motioned to strike applicant Anthony DeCicco from the 2016 Police Officer eligibility list. Commissioner Armstrong seconded. Motion passed.
Commissioner Armstrong motioned to approve the Animal Control Civil Service exam with grammatical changes discussed. Commissioner Oelker seconded. Motion passed.
Commissioner Oelker motioned to table the approval of promotional lists for both the Police Department (Lt. & Sgt.) and Fire Department (Lt. & Cpt.)
Miscellaneous items were reviewed
Commissioner Armstrong motioned, seconded by Commissioner Oelker to adjourn the meeting at 4:58 p.m. Motion passed.
