Glenbard North High School's running camp is on its way, with sessions offered for fifth through 12th grade girls, according to the school.
The technical running camp spans three classes that are designed to strengthen endurance and build an aerobic base, with the idea of improving conditioning for the upcoming athletic season.
The fee is $70 for residents and nonresidents.
Runners in grades five through eight will meet from 7 to 8 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from June 7 through Aug. 11. Those in grades nine through 12 will run on the same days from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Their camp ends July 28.
A one-week camp for runners in grades six through 12 is planned for 10 a.m. to noon every day from July 10 through July 14.
