Randy Ramey blasts incumbent Wayne Township highway commissioner

Gop

Randy Ramey, a candidate for Wayne Township supervisor, recently took to social media to blast Martin McManamon, Wayne Township's incumbent highway commissioner, for a recent mailer.

The post card carried no indication of the commissioner's political party.

"You'd think I had seen it all, but opening my mailbox tonight I find a post card from the Democrat highway commissioner asking for support," Ramey said on his campaign's official Facebook page. "To all the Republicans out there, this guy is a fraud and needs to be replaced! He lies about who he knows, he puts up signs without asking and hides the fact that he is a DEMOCRAT! Let's vote him out on April 4, vote Gregory Tamburello, THE Republican candidate for Wayne Township Highway Commissioner!"

Ramey has thrown his support behind fellow Republican candidate Gregory Tamburello in the race for Wayne Township highway commissioner. Tamburello faces a tough battle against McManamon, who is seeking his second term in office.

Tamburello previously was a director of operations in the baking industry. He has experience in building maintenance and HVAC systems. He was endorsed by Rodney Craig, village president of Hanover Park, in February.
