The Carol Stream Park District will hold the Teenie Weenie New Year's Eve Ball for children 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at the Simkus Recreation Center's SRC-Gym, according to the Park District's website.
The event is for children older than 1, but younger than 6. Planned activities include games, crafts, dancing, a balloon drop and a DJ. Snacks and dessert will be served.
Registration costs are $6 per resident child and $9 per nonresident through Dec. 25. Costs are $8 per resident and $12 per nonresident starting Dec. 26.
Each child in attendance must be accompanied by an adult, and each adult will be admitted free to the event.
