The Walking Book Club will have two sessions this fall at the Stratford Mall in Bloomingdale, the Bloomingdale Park District website reports.

The discussions of the assigned books include stretching to begin the workout and continue during the walk around the mall.

The October session of the club will start at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, while the November session will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19. Club members will meet by Macy's and are encouraged to bring their own water bottles.

The book for discussion in October will be “The Invention of Wings” by Sue Monk Kidd, while November's book will be “The Kitchen House” by Kathleen Grissom. Club members will receive the first book for discussion at the time of registration. The Bloomingdale Public Library will provide the books.

The club is free and is a partner program with Art Club 102692. For more information, call 630-529-3650, visit the park district office at 172 S. Circle Ave., or go to BloomingdaleParks.org.
