Bloomingdale Board of Fire & Police Commission met Wednesday, April 20.
The board conducts exams for initial police officer appointments and certain police officer promotions. It also conducts hearings on charges brought against sworn officers of the police department who are not represented by a collective bargaining agreement.

This meeting was called to order by Commissioner Letizia at 5:15 p.m.
3. ROLL CALL
Upon roll call by the Recording Secretary, the following were:

4. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
The approval of the Regular meeting minutes from March 16, 2016.

5. CORRESPONDENCE
The Commissioners reviewed the correspondence in their packets.
6. NEW BUSINESS
Chief Giammarese stated that Sergeant Bruce Mason has completed his 18-month probation as Sergeant. He has met expectations and is doing well. The Final Eligibility List for Sergeant was signed by Commissioners (Commissioner Pavone to sign later this evening) and will be posted to expire April 20, 2019.
