DuPage County Republican Party Chairman Brian Krajewski recently called on his fellow party members to reject the Chicago political machine's rule by supporting Seth Lewis, who is running for State Senate, and Heidi Holan, who is running for State House, in this November's election.
"Our work to defeat local Democrats is more important than ever," Krajewski wrote in the DuPage GOP newsletter. "At the end of the General Assembly spring session, Sen. Tom Cullerton (D-Villa Park) cowardly voted present and Rep. Deb Conroy (D-Elmhurst) fell in line by voting yes on Speaker Mike Madigan's $7 billion out of balance budget. Conroy also voted to bail out Chicago Public Schools at the expense of our schools here in DuPage County. Enough is enough! DuPage should reject the Chicago political machine's rule over our county and state."
Lewis is running against Cullerton in District 23, and Holan is vying for Conroy's seat in District 46.
