The City of St. Charles, Illinois Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will meet at 5 p.m. today, May 9, to elect officers.
The positions up for election are chairman and secretary.
The board will also discuss updates on the fire department captain promotion process and the police department hiring lists.
The board conducts promotional exams, hires sworn police officers and firefighters and holds disciplinary hearings.
