St. Charles extends warm welcome to newest ventures

Tipping the town’s hat to new businesses and promoting local shopping, Matt O’Rourke, serving as economic development manager for St. Charles, encourages residents to frequent the following venues as part of their regular shopping routines.

In the Downtown area, the community welcomes Magnolia Bridal, located at 141 S. 1st Street; Charleston on The River, a restaurant at 1 W. Illinois St., Ste. 170, and Lighthouse Recovery Inc., a counseling service at 210 S. 5th St., Unit 10.

In the East Gateway district, new ventures include Neri Landscape at 1820 Wallace, Suites 108-109; A Plus Healthcare Training at 549 Dunham Rd., Ste. 100; Burrito Guacamole Mexican Restaurant at 818 E. Main St.; Eastside Fireplace & BBQ at 1307 E. Main St.; Mechelle’s Boutique Jewelry and Accessories at 3800 E. Main St., G112A; Shopping for Knowledge Child and Adult Tutoring at 3800 E. Main, Ste. C115; MML Premier Landscape Services at 200 S. 13th Ave. Unit B, and XD Adventures/9D Interactive Movie Ride at 3800 E. Main St. G113.

Within East Gateway’s industrial area are Imperial Gutter Services at 707 Colomba Ct., Ste. 110, and Prime Time Painting at 1830 Wallace Ave., Ste. 208.

Located in both DuPage and Kane counties, the City of St. Charles has over 1,800 businesses including retailers, restaurants and manufacturing, which collectively employ more than 18,000 people.
