Woodridge, Illinois' Village Board met recently to discuss engineering services, a new type of liquor license requested by an Italian eatery, and the disposal of old equipment.
Following regular business and prior to the matters at hand, the board conducted a public comment session for those audience members wishing to offer remarks on either agenda-related items or other topics of concern.
The board subsequently reviewed a resolution regarding a consulting service agreement between the Village and Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick Inc. pertaining to a stabilization and engineering project at Crabtree Creek Bank, located east of Woodridge Drive. The contract is priced at $22,300, with design work estimated at $13,000 and engineering predicted to total another $9,300.
Jr. Capri Inc., doing business as Capri Ristorante Woodbridge, previously submitted a proposal for a fine Italian restaurant to be situated in the Woodgrove Festival shopping center at 1001 West 75th St., Suite 159. The board’s task was to discuss authorization of a request for a type of liquor license — Class A-1 — that would require an amendment to the Village Code.
Finally, board members conferred about how best to dispose of obsolete equipment items no longer deemed necessary by the Village.
Following communications, correspondence, reports from the mayor and Village administrator plus new business, the meeting was followed immediately by a workshop session with a separate agenda.
