The DuPage County, Illinois Legislative Governmental Affairs Committee reviewed a lengthy list of pending legislative items during its regular meeting on March 22.
Chairman John Curran discussed each of the bills, reported the county’s position on each, and made recommendations to the committee.
Through the various discussions and recommendations, the committee agreed to take further action on HB5578, the EPA-Coal Tar Ban Bill, referring it back to the Environmental Committee for further discussion. The committee also voted to either support or take other action on several of the items
