With the Downers Grove Village Hall and Police Department buildings beginning to show their age, village leaders will introduce a Facility Sustainability Plan at the Village Council meeting on Tuesday.
The agenda will focus on the consideration of three separate directions for the project.
Williams Architects, the contracted architects hired to provide preliminary design services, has prepared concept plans and outlined preliminary cost estimates for the three options that will include replacing systems only within the buildings, significantly remodeling one or both buildings along with constructing an addition to the police station.
