The Carol Stream Board of Fire and Police Commissioners discussed the new terms of police officer eligibility and updated the status of its ongoing recruitment plan during its meeting on Jan. 12.
As part of the recruitment drive, classified ads were placed in various publications and applications for new police officers were received through the first week of February.
The board plans to update the status of recruitment at the next meeting.
