To discuss the proposed Downtown Plan, developed over the past several months, Elmhurst is hosting a public hearing at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in City Hall's Council Chambers.
The city has hired Houseal Lavigne, a planning consulting firm, to research and analyze the downtown area, then help develop a plan that will be used as a road map to nurture investment and redevelopment in Downtown Elmhurst. Hard data and public feedback collected over several months, following several meetings and workshops, were used to create the plan.
