The DuPage County Mosquito Abatement Task Force will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at County Headquarters in Wheaton, 421 N. County Farm Road.
After a review of the 2015 mosquito season, the task force will begin to discuss recommendations to prepare for 2016's mosquito season, which starts in late spring. Topics will include public relations and awareness efforts, outreach to forest preserves and preparedness efforts/threat response.
The task force also will discuss the joint purchase/procurement process for the county's villages.
The task force also will lay out a meeting schedule for the year.
