The Bloomingdale Village Board held a public hearing on Monday during which the village government presented its proposed tax-levy ordinance.
The hearing’s agenda included a presentation on the proposal from village Finance Director Gary Szott.
As part of the Truth in Taxation law, Szott said notice of this hearing was published in the Daily Herald newspaper on Dec. 4.
After board members commented on the measure, the board then accepted comments and questions from village residents and other stakeholders.
