The Village of Lisle recently said its Finance Department, led by Director Kim Schiller, has been honored again by the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada (GFOA), receiving the group's Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 12th year.
The award honors the department's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended April 30, 2014. The group said the report epitomized “the spirit of full disclosure,” outlining Lisle’s financial status to residents in a straightforward format.
