The Wheaton Fire Department, Wheaton Police Department and Wheaton College conducted an emergency-response training exercise Monday at Wheaton College’s Edman Memorial Chapel.
The event featured a simulation of an active-shooter situation aimed at helping first-responders receive critical training to protect the community.
The City of Wheaton government includes Mayor Michael Gresk and six City Council members. Current members are John Rutledge, John Prendiville, Thoresen Saline, Phil Suess, Todd Scalzo and Evelyn Pacino Sanguinetti. City Hall hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
