Avian USA Machinery, LLC celebrated its grand opening in West Chicago with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its facility at 1901 Powis Court on Sept. 24.
The facility will house shredding and granulating machines in a 35,000-square-foot space and will handle sales and service for customers in North America.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony included speeches by West Chicago Mayor Ruben Pineda, Avian facility Vice President of Operations Andy Gu and Avian Granulator Group President Mark Miao.
"We will support you any way we can, and when you are ready to expand, we have a beautiful business center right across the way,” Pineda said.
Avian USA Machinery, which is part of Avian Granulator Group, is a world-class manufacturer of size reduction machinery for the plastic, rubber and recycling industry.
