State Rep. Jeanne Ives (R-IL) will host the annual Kids' Health & Fitness Boot Camp on Friday, Aug. 14, at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton.
The camp is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. until noon for children ages 7-12. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be a number of fun, physical activities available for participants, including an FTX Crossfit obstacle course, a climbing wall, a National Guard fitness test, a scavenger hunt, a one-mile challenge run through the park and aerobics with music. Also, there will be healthy snacks and prizes for participants.
