Ge

After a nationwide search, the village of Glen Ellyn said Friday that Jeff Vesevick has been appointed as new general manager of the Village Links/Reserve 22.

Vesevick, who served as the interim general manager the last eight months, will oversee operations at the village's 27-hole golf course and restaurant, Reserve 22.

Vesevick will also oversee implementation of the annual business plan, multiyear operational and capital budgets, marketing and guest satisfaction and serve as the primary liaison to the village's recreation commission. Vesevick’s main responsibility will be to ensure the golf course and new restaurant and banquet operations remain fiscally responsive to the Glen Ellyn community.

"I am both honored, and excited to be given the opportunity to work in this new capacity alongside the very talented and dedicated professionals who work at the village and Village Links/Reserve 22," Vesevick said. "I look forward to enhancing this wonderful recreational asset for the Glen Ellyn community and the many wonderful guests who patronize our golf course and restaurant facilities."

Over 150 candidates from across the nation applied for the general manager position.

Vesevick received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Elmhurst College. He is married and has three children. He is also a graduate of Glenbard East High School.

He lives with his wife and youngest son in Wheaton.
