Westmont's newly elected officials sworn in

Westmont

The Westmont, Illinois, Village Board on Thursday swore in newly elected officials while honoring outgoing trustees.

“I want to personally thank Trustees [Sue] Senicka and [Bob] Scott for all they have done for the community for so many year,” Mayor Ron Gunter said. “They have both done a great job for Westmont and we will miss them.”

Senicka has served four terms as village trustee, has chaired every village committee, and has also served as mayor pro tem. She also served on the Promote Westmont Commission and the 75th Anniversary Committee.

Scott served as village trustee for two terms, and previously served on the police-fire board for seven years.

During the meeting, the village also swore in newly elected officials Marie Johanik-Guzzo and Linda Liddle and re-elected trustee Steve Nero.
