Ten college and occupational training scholarships for low-income students are available through the DuPage County Department of Community Services.
The Community Services Block Grant scholarship helps offset student needs for tuition, books, supplies and other school materials.
Special consideration will be given to students interested in high technology or other occupations in emerging fields.
Applications are available at Naperville Township, 139 Water St., or DuPage County Department of Community Services Office, 421 N. County Farm Road in Wheaton. Applications can also be found online at www.dupageco.org/CSBG/.
Completed applications and supporting documents must be received by May 1 at 4:30 p.m.
